Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Extract 7 Hard, White Cysts From A Woman's Forehead

  • Dr. Pimple Popper shared a new video of herself extracting tiny milia from a woman’s forehead on Instagram.
  • Dr. Pimple Popper extracted a total of seven milia from the woman’s face.
  • Milia are hard, white cysts that live underneath the skin, and they look a lot like whiteheads.

I like to think that Dr. Pimple Popper videos exist on a spectrum: Some offer you just a teeny, satisfying pop; some leave you on the edge of your seat, wondering if Dr. P got it all; and some are just downright messy.

Dr. Pimple Popper’s newest popping video is definitely on the tamer side—but it’s still satisfying as hell. Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD’s culprit in the video? Milia.

In the video, Dr. Pimple Popper goes to work on a woman’s forehead. “There’s millions of reasons to LOVE a good 💥POP💥here’s a #milia more!” she captioned the video. While extracting the milia with a comedone extractor, she says that they’re “almost like little whiteheads.”

While they certainly resemble whiteheads, milia are actually hard, white cysts that live under the skin, board-certified dermatologist Joel Schlessinger previously explained to Women’s Health. “Picking at them often has little to no effect and attempting to pop them will likely leave your skin red, irritated, and inflamed, with the milia still intact.” You need to see a dermatologist to have them removed. And as you can see here, the process involves long white strands of gunk.

As Dr. Lee talks to the patient, you find out this isn’t the first time she’s been to a dermatologist to have her milia extracted—but that they always seemed to come back. The woman also mentioned that she has nieces in Mississippi that apparently follow Dr. P, and they had no idea their aunt was a patient.

Of course, this isn’t Dr. Pimple Popper’s first encounter with milia: She’s removed them from another patient’s eyelids, and from another patient’s forehead, ear, and neck.

I guess with all the milia she’s extracted over the years, you could say Dr. Pimple Popper is a milia-nnaire. No? Ok, I’ll see myself out.
