Several studies have shown that the therapy, which involves applying pressure to various points on the soles of the feet, can help promote sleep and relaxation. While Mickael swam in the indoor heated pool, I chose an hour-long session with Tracy. Ten minutes in and I was dozing off. Not only did the gentle pressure soothe my sore feets and aching limbs, but it calmed my mind for the rest of the weekend. After a delicious pub lunch and a brisk coastal walk, we both collapsed on our inviting mattress and slept soundly for ten hours. When we got home, we felt relaxed and rejuvenated, enjoying night after night of deep slumber. Until the little one woke up, of course…
