  • Anne Hathaway announced she is expecting her second child with husband Adam Shulman.
  • The Ocean’s 8 star shared the news with a cute bump photo posted to Instagram.
  • She shared a bit about her pregnancy journey in the caption and hinted at infertility with both her pregnancies

Anne Hathaway had some very exciting baby news to share today. She and her husband Adam Schulman are expecting their second child.

Anne posted a photo to Instagram to announce her pregnancy. In the black-and-white photo, Anne is wearing a light flowy tank top and what appear to be denim shorts. Most important, her growing bump is front and center, and the soon-to-be mom of two is glowing and has a big smile across her face.

Anne started off her bump selfie caption with a joke: “It’s not for a movie…⁣⁣ #2⁣” You never know with actresses, and Anne has transformed herself (hello Mia Thermopolis in Princess Diaries) for many roles over the years. Her bump is all real though.

It’s not for a movie…⁣⁣ #2⁣ ⁣All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love 💕

The star quickly got real in the caption and added, “⁣All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love 💕”

Anne didn’t share any specifics or elaborate about her experience with infertility in the short post. Though, she did note that both pregnancies were “not a straight line.” Anne’s due date is also still a mystery.

Anne and Adam were married in 2012, and their first child, Jonathan Rosebanks, was born in March 2016. He will soon be a big brother.

Congratulations to Anne and her growing family, and yes another potential heir to the Genovian throne.
