Coronavirus warning: The seven official symptoms of COVID-19 – including one common sign

Coronavirus is an infectious disease that has been confirmed in almost three and a half million people across the world. The most common warning signs of the infection have been revealed, including the characteristic fever, and a new, continuous cough.

The UK has officially passed the peak of the coronavirus infection.

But the government has urged the public to stay at home, to avoid becoming infected or spreading the virus further.

Despite nearing the final stretch of the COVID-19 outbreak, hundreds of people are still dying in the UK everyday.

The seven official symptoms of coronavirus have been published by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Anyone with a cough, or shortness of breath, may have the infection, it warned.

They’re more likely to infected if they have at least two other symptoms.

These include a fever, chills, repeated shaking with the chills, muscle pain, sore throats, or a loss of taste or smell.

Headaches could also be caused by the coronavirus, said the CDC, which may easily be dismissed as a common occurrence.
