Aldi launches exercise equipment collection – starting from under £5
We spent the best part of this year thinking about our fitness – from PE with Joe Wicks to using up our recommended outdoor exercise time.
It doesn’t look like most of us will be getting back to gyms and places for team sports any time soon, so if you’re still exercising indoors, it might be time to revamp your home to accommodate.
Aldi has launched a new range of exercise equipment for just that purpose, with prices starting from just £4.99.
For this price, you can get a yoga mat or some resistance bands, 1kg or 2kg dumbbells, push-up bars, or an ab wheel.
2kg or 5kg dumbbells will set you back £8.99, or for £9.99 you can buy TRX-style sling trainers to work on your bodyweight fitness.
Over and above that there are medicine balls, a fitness tracking band, barbells in different weights, and weighing scales all under £30.
To truly ramp up the home fitness, Aldi’s rowing machine is £199.99, while a power rack with integrated lat pull down and rowing pull and adjustable spotter, dip bar and j hook is £279.99.
You can buy online now, or everything will be available in stores tomorrow, just in time for any New Years’ resolutions to begin.
According to Finder, over 45% of resolutions focus on health, while around 37% are based around self improvement.
A home gym is definitely an improvement, but managing to stay off the sofa all day every day is an even bigger one. Let us know when you work out the secret formula for motivation.
