Covid deaths have topped 80,000 in the UK, and cases are continuing to rise across the country. You should stay at home and self-isolate if you develop any of these “uncommon” warning signs of coronavirus, an expert has warned.
The UK is currently battling against a crippling third wave of Covid infections.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson was forced to announce a third national lockdown on January 4, in a bid to stop the spread of the infection.
He claimed that the tiering system was working to quell the original Covid strain, but the introduction of a more transmissible Covid variant required more stringent measures.

But you may be at risk of coronavirus without even knowing it, as one in three people are asymptomatic.
Around 20 percent of all patients develop Covid symptoms that aren’t on the Government’s official list of coronavirus signs, according to the COVID Symptom Study app’s Professor Tim Spector.
Some people with Covid appear to be developing headaches and fatigue, he said.
Skin rashes, mouth ulcers, and even changes to your tongue, could all be warning signs of the infection.

Some patients have also reported developing persistent hiccups, hair loss, and even dizziness.
The three most important Covid symptoms to look out for include a high fever, a new, continuous cough, and a loss of smell or taste, according to the NHS.
Most people with coronavirus will develop at least one of these tell-tale signs.
You don’t need a thermometer to see if you have a high fever. You’ll likely have a fever if your chest or back is warm to the touch.
A continuous cough is described as having at least three coughing episodes within a 24-hour period.
If you’re worried that you might have coronavirus, you should book a Covid test as soon as possible.
You should also self-isolate at home until you receive your test result.
If your test is negative, you can return to daily life; albeit continuing to follow the national lockdown guidelines.
But if you test positive for Covid, you should isolate at home for at least 10 days after the onset of symptoms.
